Day #60: Husbands Need Love too!

This entry is dedicated to my wonderful husband, Bob! Who is currently napping on the couch next to me...

Anyways, Bob and I got married on March 10, 2011. The "wedding" included me, him, my parents and Judge A.T. Frank at the Saginaw County Courthouse. Bob was laid off from work and being a diabetic, I didn't want to wait until our planned wedding of June 2, 2012 to ensure health insurance. So, we got married early in a small civil service! With the continued support of our friends and family, we still had our wedding on June 2, 2012...and lots of fun we had!

Our photographer, Stefanie Miller, captured our day beautifully:

Yeah, we fly!
Anyways, both weddings were beautiful and I am happy we still had a formal one! We both had a great time!

So, we have been married, going on two years. We are both in school. Bob is a paramedic and is working towards a nursing degree. I am very proud of him and all of the accomplishments he has made in his life. He puts up with a lot from me. He supports all my dreams and aspirations, encouraging me along the way. He is my rock and I love him very much! I, in turn, attempt to be his as well!

Mooches!
Bob and my beautiful bridesmaids! Can you guess which one is his daughter? Front row, middle!
Bob is a great father. He has two children: Chelsea, who is 15 and Bryson, who is 6. Both are great and have accepted me with open arms.

We hope to expand our family...soon! Right, babe?!
Yep! He smashed cake in my face!

"Are you going to smash cake in my face?"

Dear Husband, I love you very much. Thank-you for putting up with my mood swings, shopping problem, my lack of cooking, my anxiety when the house gets messy, my nagging...basically all of my faults! I continue to love you more each day. I don't know what I did to deserve you, but I am very grateful.

Can I keep you?

Love, Chelsea

PS Please keep the beard.

  1. You're right, husbands do need love, too! And nothing wrong with getting married a year earlier than planned...that just means an extra year of marriage to enjoy!
