Day #100: Deer and a GIVEAWAY!

First, hooray for my 100 day blogging! It's been fun. I am loving it so far!

Tonights entry will be short. I am in Dearborn because I am taking a class tomorrow to be a TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Class) instructor with two of my colleagues. So, I cleaned earlier, caught up on homework, drove 2 hours and then went out to dinner. Then we got lost somewhere trying to find our hotel.

This year, however, the hits just keep on coming! My parents hit a deer. They are okay but their car is totaled. Hubs had to go pick them up almost an hour away from home. The Manzullo-Melrose families are just NOT winning this year.

Damn deer.

Now, I am blogging instead of studying, which I need to do. In order to take this course, you have to pass a test with at least 90% or you're asked to leave. You take the test immediately in the AM. Talk about PRESSURE!

Anyways, I am half watching the Tigers play in the World Series. And studying. Wee! I will have copy-cat closet posts up tomorrow night.

But before you go, enter The Grant Life's sponsor giveaway!!!

Contest is open to US and Canada residents.  Ends 12:01 AM on November 8, 2012.  Chance of winning is based on entries.

  2. One of my fave holiday traditions is every Christmas eve my family and I go out for a car ride around town to look at Christmas lights while we wait for our Chinese food order (another tradition) to be ready to take home and eat together :)

  4. I make us pj's each year, so on Christmas Eve we open those and the kids each open on present each. We watch movies and spend the evening anticipating "Santa's" arrival!

  5. My Christmas list consists of a new camera with good zoom and great features. NOT a DSLR, just something on the way up to it.

  9. On MY Christmas list? Not much for me, but I have a long wishlist for my baby boy who arrived in September. It was a high-risk pregnancy, and a surprise baby at that (though his two big sisters and my husband were THRILLED a little boy joined the family!), so I didn't buy much at all to prepare for baby. So baby gear and odds and ends would top my Christmas list.

  10. My favorite holiday tradition is our Elf on a Shelf (my girls named him "Mittens" and WOW does he ever keep them on their best behavior during the month preceding Christmas).
