The following items were removed. The reasons behind their removal are in italics.
2. Do at least one year in the peace core. I'm married and want children, so this likely won't happen. Plus it's not really a dream of mine anymore. I would rather try to help people in the country I live in, not other countries. It sounds selfish but I don't think there's enough Americans helping each other.
9. Use an entire wall as my canvas. Again, not a huge dream of mine anymore. I have a house full of walls and I pretty much do with them what I want.
13. Find God again. While searching for God, I actually found something better. I found myself. I have always been skeptical of religion and the creation of the universe. While trying to find answers and a place for God in my life, I actually learned to put faith in myself and found that was all I needed.
14. Spend the night on a beach, sleeping under the stars Yeah...I like beaches and all, but I no longer have a desire to wake up with sand in every crevice of my body.
22. Kiss in the rain I think when I originally wrote the list in 2007, I was feeling romantic. Or I was watching Sweet Home Alabama. Whichever.
40. Watch the launch of a spaceship Probably not likely to happen now since NASA shut down their space program.
65. Dance under the stars...This could be fun I suppose, but again I think I was feeling swooney when I wrote the list.
93. Become a midwife Yeah, I have now seen some live births and I find them disgusting.
98. Make a list of 100 things I want to do before I die...Uh, okay weirdo, didn't you just do that?
100. Walk on the moon. This will never happen. Why aspire to something that will never happen? Besides, I still maintain the moon landing was fake.
Hey. :) I am new to your blog and I LOVE this list. Haha. I have contemplated putting together a bucket list or something similiar to it, and after reading yours I think I will start that list today.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
