Day #77.1: The Amazing Slurpee Race

This is how the Amazing Slurpee Race started:

As you can see, there is 56 comments. Sheri posted this and Hubby saw it. It was then ON. He was determined to be the Amazing Slurpee champion.

Speeding to 7-11 in hopes of being the Amazing Slurpee Race champion.

Obtaining the cherry slurpee.
Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!

Sheri enjoying her $20 slurpee.

And that was the Amazing Slurpee Race. The End.

Until later,

Day #46: Friday Top 5

In my heated rants about the city I live in, I forgot to post my Friday Top 5 and My September Wish List and goals. GAH! I promise I'm done with the rants...for now!

Chelsea's Friday Top Five

1. Mom
MY MOMMY WENT HOME TODAY! She is finally out of the hospital and she understands that if she ever fails to tell me that she is having chest pain and/or other symptoms of worry, that she will have more to worry about than blood clots. Cause she will be dealing with ME! I am a force to be reckoned with.

2. Office Supplies

I am addicted to office supplies. I love back to school time because I love buying office supplies. So does my husband. Is this strange?

3. Paracord
Hubby and I have been making paracord bracelets. It's actually a lot of fun and it's something we can do together. We purchased supplies from Paracord Planet for a decent price of $8.99 for a 100 feet of cord, which is cheaper than the 16 ft from craft stores. They have many different sizes and colors. We also bought the buckles from there. It took them about 4-5 days to actually confirm shipment but after that it was here within 2 days. There are great YouTube video tutorials on how to make the bracelets. Once I am better at it, I may make one. Hoping to feature some bracelets in our Etsy shop soon!

4. Shopping with Sheri!

I had fun getting out for the night with one of my BFF's Sheri! Shopping + Dinner = a great night out!

5. My Mother-in-Law

I am very fortunate to have one of the best mother-in-laws in the world! She is super sweet and every time we see her she gives me stuff she knows I would love. Like make-up and a sewing machine. She has a heart of gold and I love her! And she doesn't judge my crazy side. ;)

Day #39: Shopping Adventure

Hi! This is me today!
I am so enjoying my time off from school. I start again on Monday and I must say, I am not looking forward to it. Maybe if it was part-time classes, not full-time, it wouldn't be so bad. Of course, I had to be all ambitious and want to get my bachelor's degree in a year. Oh well, I keep telling myself this is my last full-time semester. Graduate school will be part-time only!

Me & Sheri, @ Maurices.
Anyways, I had a fairly good day. I spent the first half of my day working on getting started with school stuff, cleaning, and making jewelry. Oh, and blogging of course! The second half I went shopping with my friend, Sheri. We went to Maurices, where they had a buy one, get one half off sale. I bought a couple of shirts and a pair of jeans. My self-confidence had a small jolt, as I had to go up a pants size because the size I normally wear was too tight. I keep telling myself, it's just their brand. Once this dizziness stops, I definitely need to go back to the gym. I won't be getting a wish-list item this month. Shucks!

These pants are super cute. However, Sheri didn't like the "whiskers" as they are called (the sales girl told us). The whiskers are the little lines that are pointing at her vag. The whiskers made her uncomfortable. Odd.
After Maurices, we had big plans to go to a bunch of different stores, but instead found ourselves at Target. I could spend hours and hours at Target. I bought some concealer (which I have no idea how to use, but I have read many make-up tutorials that say this is a must. I am still learning. How sad is it that I am 27 years old and still learning how to do my own make-up. Ugh. I should have went to beauty school!)

Anyways, after Target we went to JoAnn Fabrics. My other love in life, crafts. I purchased some stuff to make cute bracelets. And of course, Sheri and I had our shenanigans.

AH! A SPIDER!
CAW CAW!
Phantom of the...JoAnn's.

Anyways, that's all for now!

Until tomorrow,

Big, Beautiful & Broker...Chelsea
