The One with the Scaredy Cat

So, last night Bob and I went to bed. I feel asleep almost immediately and Bob was playing around on his iPad.

Well, he played this video:

Now, somewhere in my sleep I heard the cat noises mixed with children laughing and it must have struck a cord with my dream because I leapt out of bed, frantically running around the bed towards the door to go rescue what I assumed was a dying cat.

I remember yelling, "What is that? What is going on? What is that noise?!"

Bob was on the bed, laughing so hard he was almost crying. "It's a video on my iPad...!" More laughing.

"You asshole! I thought one of the cats was choking!!!!!"

"Okay...so what were you going to do if they were??" Bob asks, still laughing.

I stomp into the bathroom, calling him every name in the book because in my sleep brain, he did that on purpose to scare me.
Then I come back to bed and fall back to sleep. Apparently, a little while later, Bob coughed and I said to him: "Well played."

"What?" he asks.

"Trying to scare me again with your cough."

Seriously? I have no idea what happens to me when I go to sleep.

Day #174: Half-Awake texting.

I'm so tired today. Being a nurse, in an emergency room, during flu season...sucks. Why? Because we are jammed packed everyday.

It's physically and mentally exhausting.

Anyways, I was dead asleep...still, at 11:30ish. Don't judge me...it was a long 4 days. Anyways, I was dreaming that I was outside performing CPR. All of a sudden, I started hearing beeps...I don't know how to explain the beeps. Have you ever seen the "Hunger Games"? The little parachute thingys that drop down with things the people need? So, while I am performing chest compressions a little parachute drops down with drugs that I needed to give the patient.

Then I woke up and realized that my husband was in the other room trying to wake me up by setting off the "where's my iphone" alert. It's an alert you can send out which causes the phone or iPad (Or BOTH in my case). So, he sent the alerts out to make my phone and iPad ring to wake me up.

So weird. And annoying. Then I was trying to text him back, while half awake.

Fobitrinny can only be described as this:

Yep. I was truly tired.

Okay, I am going to attempt to sew a straight line today. Here's hoping!!

Day #105.2: Sleep talking?

Does anyone talk in their sleep? I apparently, do talk in my sleep. Or yell. At my hubs.

So, last night I went to bed after taking a dose of nite-quil. I feel asleep watching a movie, so I was laying diagonal in the bed since hubby was still in the living room.

Now, this is where he takes over the story because I can't remember since I was sleeping.

Me: What are you doing?
Him: Coming to bed.
Me: Why?
Him: Okay, never mind?
Then I apparently, very huffily moved over and said, "For nile."
Him: Uhm, what?
Me: FOR NILE.
Him: Uhm....what?
Me: FOR NILE, FOR NILE, FOR NILE!
Him: (insert blank stare)
Me: You know what I'm trying to say! FOR NILE! We talked about the thumbnails.
Him: laughing hysterically
Me: You asshole. We just talked about this. Why are you making fun of me? You know what I mean!
Him: You are sleep talking again.
Me: I am NOT asleep, I am wide awake.

Then at some point I woke up, playing on my phone and began laughing hysterically.

I remember none of this. I woke up holding my phone and was extremely confused. Hubby told me about this and I laughed, but I feel bad since I ripped him a new a-hole as I am screeching about FOR NILE.

Yep. This isn't the first time. I apparently carry on whole conversations in my sleep, very often.
