But back to reality. Without working overtime, we won't make it. I can pay the bills but there isn't much left to put into savings. Unfortunately, our savings dwindled more than I wanted it to the past 2 weeks. I didn't buy enough groceries for us and the kids, plus we had school clothes to buy. Hence, why I picked up two extra shifts this upcoming weekend. Luckily though, Monday and Tuesday, Hubby and I both are off so we can get in some quality time, just the two of us.
But, back to reality tomorrow. Though, the 6 days off were a welcomed break. I feel refreshed and ready to get back to work.
I will admit, we are doing better with money but it is still hard. Meal planning isn't fun, but we did stick to it last week. I keep trying to think of meals for the next week but since I am not the chef in the house, I have a hard time coming up with ideas.
As for my weight, several people have commented that I appear to have lost weight, although I have NOT been working out. Eating better, perhaps, but I am still lacking on the work-outs.
What? Oh wait, yep this is me!
However, I am trying not to be down on myself. I can't expect that I can diet, exercise, budget, be in school, work and tend to everything else in life and not lack in one area or another.
I have been working hard on my jewelry and my new felt projects. There are so many crafts that I want to pursue and make, but so little time. I am thinking about doing some craft shows this fall. I did one over a year ago, but I sold like 2 items. Try, try again?
Fat Kitty wants to craft too! And yes, that's an a pig from Angry Birds.
