I suck at sewing. I'm a fairly crafty person. I can usually just pick up a craft, watch a few YouTube videos and understand how to do it. Sewing on the other hand, is giving me a run for my money.
It took me an hour today to wind thread onto a bobbin. An hour. Seriously? Ugh.
Yep. A lot of thread I went through before my mom sent me a video of how to wind the bobbin. Lots of thread and one hour wasted! Geesh. I need to find a good YouTube station and some easy projects to start with.
Patience is a virtue.
In other news, Bob was accepted to the University of Michigan! He will be going there either in the summer or fall to finish his pre-med degree. I'm so proud of him! I know it will be a long road but I think he will be happy once he's done. I start school Monday. Graduate school. I never thought I would go to graduate school and especially NOT for nursing education. I never had a desire to teach until I was treated badly by my first couple of preceptors. I will have to share that story someday!
Anyways, I got a lot accomplished today. Bob and I went out for lunch before I dropped him off at school. I went to JoAnn's to buy some fabric, then came home and cleaned. The house still is a mess but the shower and the floors look nice! Tomorrow is laundry day. Wee!
