Well, flu season is in full swing. Unfortunately, I was one of it's many victims. And I had a flu shot in October. Ain't that a kick in the head!
I woke up Tuesday morning, feeling not great, a little nauseated and shaky, but I went to work anyways. Throughout the day, I continued to feel worse until I finally just felt like hammered crap. (My husbands words...not mine). Whenever I stood up I felt dizzy and nauseated. My heart rate jumped up. I threw up many times. I was achy. Congested. I ended up being treated. I received several doses of nausea medicine and 3 liters of fluids. Bob brought me home and tucked me in. He then went to the pharmacy to fill my prescriptions, where he found out our insurance company has my daughter and my birthdays mixed up. After fighting with them, he went to several stores to find me Squirt (my pop craving when I am sick). He took good care of me. He made me chicken noodle soup the next day. He's a trooper.
1. My dog, Abbey, is adorbs.
2. My hubs finally got my old Razor phone to turn on and I was able to get some old pictures of Brandon and a video. If you missed why this was important to me, read it here.
3. I got my January glam bag! wee!
4. I started grad school Monday.
5. It was 53 degrees in Michigan this past weekend. Weird...

Hope you're feeling somewhat better by now, at least! Sickness is never fun. I've been going to school sick this whole week--just the typical bad cold, nothing serious. I get charged $35 a day for every sick day I take, so that's quite the impetus to keep going no matter how bad you feel!
